A Physical Therapist is an expert in musculoskeletal and neurological care that focuses on providing the tools necessary to assist with recovery from injury, or to manage acute or chronic pain or conditions.

Just as with a performance coach, you should be completely comfortable with your Physical Therapist. Our goal is to create client-centered care that allows you to feel like you are a part of the recovery process. You know your body best, so it is important that you feel heard. It is important to us that you feel like you were treated as a whole rather than just a diagnosis. We’ve had clients come to us because they felt like they were nothing more than a dollar sign for other providers that they have seen. We want to make sure that we take the time to get to know you as a person, and focus our care on all aspects of your life that are impacting your ability to get back to doing the things you love.

This varies for each of our clients depending on the diagnosis. We utilize physiological and tissue healing principles to come up with an evidence-based, individualized plan of care, and work with you to get you the most progress within the shortest time frame. We want to make sure that you are getting the most out of each session, so we make sure that we are not dragging things out longer than they have to be.

We have a passion for teaching our clients to “be their own therapist.” This means that we give you the tools to complete your own rehab program outside of the times that we meet. By doing this, we are able to guide you through movements to assess any impairments that you may have, and demonstrate how to complete appropriate movements to progress your recovery. We teach both exercise based and manual based interventions, and utilize specialized questioning to guide clinical decision making to ensure that you are completing your program safely and effectively.
